Spending time outdoors does not necessarily have to mean going on an arduous trek in the wilderness. Many times it is the simpler outdoor activities that are the best. Like a short ski loop in a nearby forest, or ice skating on a lake with crystal clear ice. These can even be better than ‘the big adventure’, which often does not even happen, or happens much too infrequently.

But how can you find inspiration to head into the outdoors, what should you do and where are the best places to go? We thought we might answer these questions with a bit of help from you!

See the small details

Sometimes it is the small details that make a huge difference; the narrow, secret trail that takes you up to the viewpoint or a hidden water pump that means you do not have to bring water. Finding these small details can make a huge difference!

How can I help?

Keep it simple – tell us below what you have found. Publish your tips under comments or on our Facebook page. If you want to write more, no problem! Just e-mail your story directly to nils.grundberg(at)fjallraven.se. Your tips should relate to the current season, so send in your winter tips and winter activities now!
1) Where is it and how do I get there? Preferably we would like places that you can reach with public transportation, but if that isn’t possible, getting there by car is fine, too.
2) Activity. What is there to do?
3) Blog. If you have a blog, Twitter account, etc., feel free to post a link to it!
4) Hashtag. If you want to post to #accessibleoutdoors we will be monitoring this hashtag on Twitter and Instagram.

What happens then?

We will then publish tips on this blog, depending on how we receive the tips. In other words, if we get a lot of tips about the same place, we will divide the posts to make them more accessible.

The best tips wins a prize

The best tip each month will win one of our products, for example a pair of trekking trousers. Primus will also sponsor with one prize, and there will be prizes from STF (The Swedish Tourist Association) as well!

Partners

In order to offer a wide range of prizes and to be able to reach more people, we are working together with two partners who have the same goal as we do – inspiring people to head out into nature.

Primus has been synonymous with cooking, heating and lighting for more than one hundred years.

The Swedish Tourist Association (STF) wants to help you discover Sweden off the beaten track.
